Guy Throws a Bag of Drugs Over a Fence In front of Cops

Police Report:
“On the above date and time (03/23/2021 20:22) LEO responded to the above address in reference to an armed disturbance involving a firearm. Upon arrival, LEO observed the DEF run from the LOI and toss a large black item over the fence just North of the residence, and then quickly return to the LOI. When LEO asked what he DEF threw over the fence, the DEF spontaneously stated that he threw a little bit of weed over the fence. LEO was able to locate the backpack in the area which matched the description of the item thrown over the fence by the DEF. Inside the backpack, LEO located the following items and narcotics: 182g of cannabis, 30.3g of Psilocybin, 11.2 g of m*******amine, 4.7g of co**ine, 2.9g of crack, 1000mg of thc wax, 8 containers of thc oil (each container weighed 1.1g), 14 pills of morphine, a scale, numerous empty baggies, consistent with narcotic sales. A firearm was later located inside the residence at the above location, but not in the possession of the DEF. The narcotics were located within 1000 ft of a church.

Post Miranda the DEF stated that he found the bookbag approximately 3 days ago at an abandoned house on “8th st.” but could not provide an exact address. The DEF stated that he knew there were narcotics in the bookbag and was hoping to sell them in order to earn cash.”
