For the dough you will need
4 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon safron powder/tumeric powder
2 tablespoons butter
water to mix

For filling
6 cups dhal/yellow split peas
2 teaspooons safron powder/tumeric to boil
2 tablespoons ground roasted geera/cumin
garlic, hot pepper and bandhanya
salt to taste
extra flour for dusting
oil to use when dhal puri is cooking
