This is a 60 minute challenging'wrist free' vinyasa flow class. A challenging, full body flow class. Perfect if you're supporting a wrist inury or you'd just like to give your hands a break and would still like a dynamic flow. There are no postures that require weight bearing on the hands (no downward dogs, planks or push ups).

We begin gently with a kneeling vinyasa, opening the side body and shoulders, moving through gate, eagle arms and mild twist. Then, onto our bellies via forearm dolphin and plank for a locust seesaw activating the muscles down the back of our bodies. We then flow through a series of balances and leg strengtheners - chair balance, crescent lunges, pyramid, revolved Triangle, twists, warriors, side angles and triangles. Our balancing postures include 1/2 moon, with an option to bind, standing big toe pose, tree & eagle. We then transition to the floor via boat pose for bridge, happy baby, hip groin and a twist. Option to turn upside down if you're familiar with inversions and complete practice with a brief, well earned shavasana. Just when you think you're spent, there's rest stops along the way. Hang in there! It's completely doable and so refreshing. It includes longer holds in the standing postures and there are no advanced poses - challenging but not exhausting. Enjoy!
