The Super Bowl means it's party time! Social gatherings can be awkward on a plant-based diet and lifestyle if you aren't prepared. We always like to bring easy finger foods and appetizers that both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike can enjoy. This year, we're bringing the perfect football food -- Vegan Loaded Nachos! The ingredients can easily be set out, buffet-style, and can also be used to make Tortilla (or Romaine) Taco Boats! Go dairy-free, and try our amazing cashew Nacho Cheese, get your protein fix with our meatless Lentil Walnut Taco "Meat," along with a simple salsa and easy guacamole recipe. We also show you a handful of other plant-powered toppings you can load up your party plate with! Being vegan never felt so GOOD!

Recipes:

Lentil Walnut Taco Meat:
• 1/2c walnut
• 2c green lentil
• 1tbsp oregano
• 1tbsp cumin
• 1tsp garlic powder
• dash of chili powder
• salt + pepper to taste

1. Rinse and cook green lentils. (You can add a bit of onion for extra flavor).
2. Once cooked, rinse in cold water and transfer to food processor.
3. Add in walnuts and seasoning and pulse until "ground beef" texture is achieved.

Nacho Cheeze:
• 1c raw cashews (soak for at least 30 min)
• 2.5 tbsp nutritional yeast
• dash of garlic powder
• 1/4tsp cumin
• pinch of chili powder
• 1/4-1/2c hot water
• salt + pepper to taste
• feel free to also add ~1tsp turmeric for color!

1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Start w/ less hot water, and add as you go to achieve desired thickness of cheeze.

Guacamole:
• avocado
• tomato
• garlic powder
• onion
• salt + pepper to taste
• dash of cayenne
• cilantro
• lemon/lime

1. Add all ingredients in whatever amounts you desire, mash, whip, and serve!

Salsa:
• lemon/lime
• tomato
• onion
• garlic
• cayenne
• cilantro

1. Add all ingredients in desired quantities to a food processor, pulse until preferred chunkiness is achieved, and serve!

• Organic Blue Corn Chips
• Gluten-free Tortillas
• Romaine Leaves
• Shredded romaine
• Corn
• Black Beans
• Green Onions
• Nutritional Yeast
• Lime
• Cilantro
