Catholic Holy Sites in CK3 - How realistic is their depiction?

Crusader Kings is a great game not just for its empires, kingdoms and duchies, but also for its depiction of medieval places. Most prominently, Holy Sites in the game give the player bonuses if another ruler of the same religion controls them.
In this video we are looking at Catholic Holy Sites in Crusader Kings 3, their actual history and why Paradox might have assigned the bonuses to them as it did.
