dhoe milo mere bhaai ji,
mil kar manjali eh utthaao 6

Ya Alaah re bhaai ji chaar paaiy
chaar bhaai chaar bhaai aapnne,
le jaao jangal eh minjaar 7

paheli mejal milo mere bhaai ji,
paheli so nimaaj e gujaaro 8

duji mejal milo mere bhaai ji;
lai raakho gor e kinaare 9

gor khodeo khodheo mere bhaai ji,
aayaa bandaa eh dosaari 10

Ya Alaah re bhaai ji anbhar ne dharti
dharti vichhaae kar,
te vich raakho mere bhaai 11

Ya Alaah re bhaai ji latiaare gutiaa
latiaa gutiaa dhekar,
ajabki surat e banaai 12

Ya Alaah re bhaai ji kiskaa manddhap
kiski meddiaa,
kiskaa raaj e dhuaar 13

Ya Alaah re bhaai ji tame varoo
tame varoo jaao ghar aapnne,
hamkun to jangal rukhsun yaari 14

Ya Alaah re bhaai ji bhanne Pir Sadardin
sunno gatiyu moman,
Gur mukhe dije vast e piyaari 15

meaning
1. O Allah! O king of my soul! I request you O Qaim!
Manifest yourself.

2. O brother! This gem-like valuable body was created with
clay and water.

3. O brother! The soul flew away and the dust was left
behind. A heavy load came on the head.

4. O brother! Send for clean water and bathe this gem-like
valuable body.

5. O brother! Send for fine cloth and cover the body with
this garment (shroud).

6. O my brother! Let two brothers meet and jointly lift up
the bedstead.

7. O brother! Let four brothers lift up the bedstead with its
four legs and carry it to the forest.

8. O my brother! Gather at the first stage and offer the
(funeral) prayer.

9. O my brother! Gather at the second stage and keep the
bedstead at the edge of the grave.

10. O my brother! Dig the grave, dig the grave; this sinful
man has come.

11. O brother! The sky above and the earth below; level the
land and place him in it.

12. O brother! The mud took a strange shape when leveled
with the feet.

13. O brother! To whom do these canopies and these
mansions belong? Whose kingdom is this and whose
court is this?

14. O brother! Go back, go back, return to your home. We
have made friends with the trees of the forest.

15.O brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says: Listen o Jamat of
believers! Offer your most beloved thing to the spiritual
master.
