mapp gas steel brazing in open air

Please note this was only done to test the capability of the mapp gas to braze in open air using cheap brass rods and some substitute for borax flux, not expansive dedicated brazing rods, the old cheap method mostly used in acetyl brazing without the need of oxygen reservoir.
This is the full video, no cuts or edit, from start to finish including the preparation, the heating up and the final check without to much talk, something i was not able to find when i was looking for this.
A ceramic blanket improves the heat by a huge amount.
The target is to braze small parts like carbide inserts to steel cutter body on turning/milling.
The burner is a Sievert / Rothenberger Superfire 3 MAPP burner with Rothenberger MAPP gas tube.
