Monster Hunter: Rise - Sunbreak: Hunting the "Silver Rathalos"

"Silver Rathalos" is a male Flying Wyvern and a Rare Species of Rathalos introduced in Monster Hunter G. As a Rathalos rare species, he retains the standard traits of the species, although he has differences. This Rare Species features a shining silver carapace from head to tail with black markings along the spine. He is slightly larger than the average Rathalos. After activating its “Incandescent” state, his head, chest, and the area between the neck and wings are lit with blue flames.

He frequently barrages hunters with triple fireball and aerial claw attacks. When on the ground, he tends to use more tail whips than bites and will charge hunters less frequently. The monster also goes into a state of rage more often than his red or blue counterparts. He can enter the Incandescent state where his attacks become more aggressive.

This creature is more dangerous than the common species. He prefers aerial attacks to ground-based ones. A unique trait of this monster is that its head is extremely weak to impact (Hammer, Hunting Horn), while its wings are very weak to slash (Greatsword, Longsword, Dual Sword, etc.). Like Gold Rathian, its movement speed increases considerably when enraged, even more than the normal and Azure Rathalos.
