Easy to follow recipe to make the BEST Cookies you have ever tasted – Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies. As the name suggests, these soft cookies are made with a combination of butter and cream cheese, which makes them rich and super delicious! Cream cheese adds amazing flavor and cuts down some of the sweetness. I added semi-sweet chocolate chips, but you can use any type of chocolate chips of your choice or replace them with chocolate chunks and/or add any nuts of preference. They all will taste amazing. These cookies are thick, soft, tender and just melt in the mouth. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
• All Purpose Flour – 2and ¼ Cups (270 gms)
• Brown Sugar – ¾ Cup (150 gms)
• Regular White Sugar – ½ Cup (100 gms)
• Cream Cheese – 4 Oz (113 gms)
• Chocolate Chips – 1 and ¼ Cups (200 gms)
• Unsalted Butter – 1 Stick or ½ Cup (113 gms)
• Salt – ½ tsp
• Baking Powder – 1 tsp
• Corn Starch – 3 tsp
• Vanilla – 2 tsp
• Large Egg – 1

Steps:
1. Sieve all dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder and cornstarch) together in a bowl and keep it aside.
2. Mix softened cream cheese and butter together until they are combined well and formed into a smooth paste.
3. Add both brown sugar and white sugar to the butter and cream cheese mixture and mix until sugar is mixed well into it and forms into a smooth fluffy paste. This may take a couple minutes.
4. Add vanilla and egg and continue mixing until everything is mixed and incorporated well.
5. Finally add the dry ingredient mixture kept aside and mix on low speed just until combined. Do not over mix the flour. This step should not take more than 30 seconds.
6. Save some chocolate chips to garnish cookies before baking them and add the rest to the dough and mix for a few more seconds.
7. Finish mixing everything by hand using a spatula so that all ingredients are mixed properly in the bowl.
8. Chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
9. Roll about 2 tbsp of dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet. Add the saved chocolate chips onto rolled cookie balls.
10. Bake at 350 F for about 10 minutes.
11. Let the cookies cooldown in the baking sheet on a countertop for 10 minutes, before moving them to a cooling rack and letting them cool down completely.
12. Serve these thick, soft, tender, and amazing cookies as-is or along with a glass of milk. They are excellent for any occasion. ENJOY!
