Elderberry, Sambucus family. Juan explains in a very straightforward way how we process branches of dormant elder stems in the early spring (can be done late fall as well) and what is needed as far as length, quality and a simple way to plant directly into garden soil upon receipt of cuttings from folks like us or if you process your own.
These plants may get up to 2-3' tall in their first year with this method and be VERY ready to be dug up and transplanted when their leaves fall into their forever homes. How neat, what a wonderfully adaptable plant ready to expand where you live!!!
