Psychedelic Sunday

This track, composition, is not Psytrance but is Psychedelic in nature.



Started this on Friday, 13th, so kind of expectedly it didn't go quite to plan and I had issues throughout the creation process, from music to video. The mastering process crushed the life out of it also, but I was determined to publish something on schedule this weekend and a few other things I'd been working on didn't really standup.

It's a very analogue hardware setup and recording with eurorack equipment and effects, so don't expect digital perfection and maybe expect a little feedback. It turned out a little noisier than expected for me, I tried to clean it up rather than recording from scratch, which didn't really work, but as ever is a learning opportunity.

I recorded some of the mix, drum/percussion and bass, directly into Davinci which was a lot tougher than I thought it should be, mainly the audio inputs and patching requirements, but had some issues so once recorded I had to bounce the mix out of there again and finish in Logic before returning to the video and attempting to resolve the video issues I had. I made a few compromises in the end and think the video turned out okay.
