In this episode Nikhil talks about, sex raft experiment. The Acali raft experiment was a 1973 social experiment led by Mexican anthropologist Santiago Genovés. The experiment involved five men and six women who spent 101 days drifting across the Atlantic on a small raft named "Acali". The experiment's goal was to study the origins of violence and sexual attraction, and to investigate interpersonal relationships in conditions of limited space and social isolation. Genovés selected the participants from hundreds of applicants, representing a variety of cultures and religious beliefs. The experiment has been described as a milestone in the search for the origins of violence. A film has been made about the voyage. The 2018 BFI London Film Festival also featured a trailer for The Raft, which is inspired by the Acali Experiment.
