COMPARATIVE in Italian (Simple structure to compare 2 people or things)

Описание к видео COMPARATIVE in Italian (Simple structure to compare 2 people or things)

Ciao! Today we're gonna look at how to make comparisons in Italian between two people or things. In English to compare two people or things, you use comparative adjectives, like for example taller, shorter, bigger, smaller, and so on. In Italian instead, we use the adjective along with some specific words, such as “piu’”, “meno”, “come” and “quanto”.

In this lesson, we’ll look at three different types of comparisons that in Italian we call: “comparativo di maggioranza”, “comparativo di minoranza” and “comparativo di uguaglianza”. I’ll explain them in detail with examples of how to structure the sentence in each of these cases.

Watch the video to learn more and stay till the end as I’ll show you a very popular expression that you can use in many daily situations and means “as usual”.
