#PhloemStructureAndFunctions
This video explains the structure and functions of Phloem. Phloem is a complex Permanent tissue which is involved in the conduction of food material from leaves to other plant parts. Component cells of phloem are :
Sieve Cells/Sieve Tubes
Albuminous Cells/Companion Cells
Phloem Parenchyma
Phloem Sclerenchyma.
Out of these 4 component cells, only phloem sclerenchyma is dead, while the other 3 are living, hence phloem is a living tissue.
