Star Wars Imperial March Piano Tutorial Feb 2020

This is a piano tutorial video on how to play the Imperial March, Darth Vader's Theme on the piano to sound a bit more like the orchestral version on the album. The middle section is going to be the main focus in this video since there are very few scores or videos showing how to play that section with the little nuances, echos, and transposition. Some of the notes in the music are my interpretation. I have played this piece many times over the past 40 years and rarely play it the exact same way twice. There are always places to make little variations and interpretations. If you are decent at reading the music it would be helpful to have the piano score to learn the majority of it and then use this video to help you with the unwritten notes. Performance tip: Layer the piano sound with a string sound to sound like an orchestra!
