Session Sit In: Post Op Manual Therapy

Whats up Recovery Lab Fam!!! This time on Session Sit In, I wanted to share with you guys ways to incorporate soft tissue work and manual therapy with your post-op athletes and clients. Many people get nervous about working with post op clients, I think mainly for fear of causing any increased discomfort, but I can tell you that doing some Manual work can go a long way in improving your overall patient outcome when timed and used correctly.

In this video, I demo Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Scar/Incision site release, IASTM, as well as a really effective Rocktape application to aid the lymphatic and circulatory flow to the affected area.
