what other hero could I need?

My new single "hero" is a pretty vulnerable song based on Psalm 118:8-9. "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes."

Over the past year, God has convicted me that I've been doing just that. I tend to look to people to be an "idol," or someone to put all my security in. But you and I both know what Jesus thinks of idols. Relationships with people are good- healthy even!- but they're not the relationship where I'm supposed to get all my fulfillment from. I have a loving Hero in Jesus.

So I hope this song encourages you. It's also back to my regular old Illenium-esque tricks, so that's a fun thing too. ;)
