"Congrats for the hedgehog making it this far into the big leagues," Palutena congratulated a grinning Sonic. Chris heavily speculated that cocky grin was going to get shot multiple times in a little while. "But does it compare to how controversial his last performances were?"

And thus, Sonic's grin went away. "What's that supposed to mean? I've been doing good lately," he said.

"No, no. I don't mean your skill. I'm sorry for going so meta on you, but I'm talking about how other people see your adventures as...let's just say, tedious to go through," the goddess said.

"My adventures? Tedious? They're not tedious!" Sonic said. "Hell, they're so awesome and full of action, it'd make Knucklehead's head spin around and 'round some more!"

"Really now? I heard your latest one went BOOM on itself because how dated it looked like," the goddess said.

"...Chris, mind filling me in?" Sonic asked.

The teen sighed. "She's talking about this other universe where..." he continued explaining everything for a while until he came to the end, "...and your arms are blue."

"Huh... Now I kinda want to play that game myself just for the giggles," Sonic said, his cocky grin coming back on.

Palutena did not want to waste any more time and made a TV set, a living room set, and a Wii U appear before them. "Alright, let us indulge ourselves into the magnificent world that is Sonic Boom!" she said as she saw Sonic quickly zooming into the couch to boot the TV and the console.

Thirty minutes later was all it took to make Sonic grab a nearby trash can and puke...or at least tried to puke. Chris discouraged Palutena from taking photos of the hedgehog's over reactions, but she somehow managed to keep the hedgehog from playing through the entire game by simply saying a white lie every time the hedgehog wanted to stop. "It gets better as you play," she would say. Despite Chris's protests, Sonic suffered, and Palutena greatly enjoyed herself.

Key Notes:
- Sonic has become a lot better in this game than in Brawl, but unfortunately, his super quick fighting style doesn't suit me too much. Oh well.
- He's got a crapton of speed. Dump a lot of Defense on him and he won't surely miss a drop his best stat... Well, he totally would, but he will never complain to you, the player.
