Jaguar XJ8 Park Brake Fault - how to release stuck EPB (Jump to

How to override an electronic parkbrake or emergency brake that will not disengage. Turns out that I didn't need to do any further repairs on mine. Was it related to parking on an incline and the cold snap that we had? Who knows!


*The shop manual indicates the expected location of your EPB module depending on the last 6 digits of your VIN. However, going by that, my module would have been hidden behind the REM. It wasn't; but I am not complaining about that.
We also get to see the location of the manual fuel door emergency release.
