Are Electric RV Stabilizers Better Than Scissor Jacks?

My travel trailer came with Lippert Power Stabilizer Jacks installed and while very easy to deploy the stabilizer feet with the push of a button I started to wonder if traditional, manual scissor jacks might provide better stability. I picked up four 5000 lb scissor jacks and tested them against the powered stabilizers - and there was a clear winner.

The 5000 lb, 24 inch scissor stabilizer jacks provided significantly more stabilization than the powered legs. Couple that with the DIY 2x4 stabilizers and I was barely able to move the bubble on a spirit level jumping side to side in the RV.
