LOCH SHIEL CANOE TOUR BACKWARDS - An all women adventure

Four women canoe tour the Loch Shiel circuit backwards! Making the best of the weather forecast Nic, the two Rachel's and Walker set out from Loch Ailort and on to the sea on the West Coast of Scotland. After two nights wild camping they make it into Loch Moidart and make a strenuous portage up the River Shiel. They spend two nights sitting out a storm in a caravan before making an exciting trip up Loch Shiel in the blustery weather, and with a few worrying moments. This challenging journey is full of laughter and comradeship and the odd disagreement over 'rate my jetty'! Life long memories are made along the way, experiencing the wild unspoilt landscapes and journeying through the magnificent Scottish scenery.
