Snowboarding Splitboarding & Pow Surfing at a PNW Backcountry Hut

Описание к видео Snowboarding Splitboarding & Pow Surfing at a PNW Backcountry Hut

Well the boys decided to throw down for this one. Our annual hut trip was put on hiatus and has finally resumed with a bang. We decided to pull a couple gear sleds up so we could go all out. We brought plenty of beer, food, and 4 pow surfs. To go along with 9 splitboards of course. Our goal was to eat, drink, and snowboard as much as possible.

It felt like spring out there but the recent snowfall made for some fun spring like pow/slush. After 3 miles of splitboarding we made it to the hut where we ate charcuterie and settled in. The views of Mt Rainier, Mt Adams, and Mt St Helens were amazing. The sunshine and the snow covered hills surrounding us felt like paradise. Not long after arriving we were taking laps on the pow surfs. After the boot pack was set the runs were easy to hit. Everyone had a chance to jump on a pow surfer and make some turns. Although they are much better suited for cold powder it was a blast having them up there.

Having the hut so close it was easy to make pit stops for snacks, water, and restocking of supplies. We ate like kings. Everyone had a meal and took it to the next level. The boys left no slopes un-touched and we got some great sunset rides. Every time we go on this trip we unplug, enjoy nature, and just shred. It's hard for me to keep up with all the riding and filming so I missed a lot of great hut time video moments. Although some things are better left just for memories. The crew this year was Andy, Ashton, Benji, Calvin, Greg, Joshy, Kahn, Moonie, and myself. Big thanks to everyone that came, you are my family.

SUBSCRIBE to catch the next one, cheers.
