This is the go to somatic movement to release pain, increase mobility, and strengthen the whole back side of the body. It works with the muscles of the whole spine, buttocks and legs in a way that awakens our natural cross body movement pattern. It can be done several times a week and can be done in less than 10 minutes once you learn the movements. I call it the Somatic Cross Body Back Bend. This class takes it slow and offers different options for movement potential and awareness as well as stillness to breathe, release and feel.
