Ingredients for Mushroom Chilli:

(Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)

400 gm mushroom

Mix Mushroom with:
3 tbsp Corn flour
3 tbsp All Purpose flour (maida)

Vegetables:
½ tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
3-4 nos. Chopped green chilli
1 cup onion petals (1 medium size onion)
1 cup mix capsicum cubes
½ cup white part of spring onion
2 tbsp chopped spring onion (green leaves)

Sauces:
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
Salt to taste
¼ tsp black pepper
1 cup water
½ tsp sugar
1 tsp corn flour in 3 tbsp water – Corn flour slurry

Other Ingredients:
Oil for frying
3-4 tbsp oil to make sauce

Preparation:

Cut the Mushroom into middle. Add corn flour & all purpose flour (maida). Mix it well.
Heat oil for frying. Fry mushroom for 2-3 mins on high heat. Fry till light golden color.
After that, remove the mushroom in strainer or pepper towel.

Process:

Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a wok or kadhai.
Add chopped ginger, garlic & green chilli. Fry for 2 mins on medium heat.
Add white part of spring onion. Fry for 2 mins on medium heat.
Add white vinegar & dark soy sauce. Mix it well.
Add water. Let water boil.
Add onion petals & mix capsicum. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Add salt to taste, black pepper & sugar. Mix it well.
After boil comes, add corn flour slurry slowly. Mix it well. Let it cook for a minute on medium heat.
Add fried mushroom. Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
Add chopped green spring onion for garnish. Stir fry for 30 secs.

Serving:
Serve hot with steamed rice, fried rice or noodles.
