Anekal, situated close to the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border, is a part of the Bengaluru urban district. It majorly offers residential plots. Affordability and good connectivity to IT and industrial hubs are turning this neighbourhood into a preferred destination for plot buyers and investors.

Anekal, part of South Bengaluru, is situated at the confluence of many important stretches. Attibele-Anekal Road, Jigani-Anekal Road or the Bannerghatta Main Road, Anekal-Hosur Road and Anekal-Thally Road form a junction in the southern part of the locality. While the KS Agrahara lake is situated in the northwest, Doddakere, another water body and the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border are in the south. Kurubarahatti, Bidaragere, Karpur, Hompalaghatta, Hasaruvani, Amani Doddakere and Thattanahalli are some areas surrounding Anekal.
