This is based on Elvis's version in the 1970 film, Elvis That's The Way It Is (original cinema cut). I have found the notes of Glen Hardin's descending piano arpeggio tricky to play, but I am going with this one-off take, 'warts and all'. The Simon & Garfunkel original is in Eb but I have stuck with the Elvis version which is in C. Recorded 2 July 2024, video length 4 min 19 secs.
