Independence Day! Computer Center Wiring, Roofing & Cooling! 3 July 2024 Giga Texas Update (07:05AM)

Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and soon, the Next Generation Car!

What a fantastic day at Giga Texas as we move into the long 4th of July weekend! I also had a unbelievably detailed tour of Giga Texas after I completed my drone flight, and I want to thank the Director of Manufacturing Josh and Greg for their very generous time and walk through a significant portion of Giga Texas! I will be making a second video showing you what I can from that visit later today!

For this video, I put together an introduction that highlighted the amazingly successful 2d Qtr for Tesla with both production and deliveries of new vehicles above what even the most optimistic analyst was expecting! Tesla Energy also hit a record number of stationary storage installations across the globe, and this is now becoming a significant part of the Tesla business model!

I also talk about the pride of family members for the work their sons and daughters are doing at Giga Texas and the world-wide Tesla factories to achieve these milestones! For me, that is what is most inspiring and I'm glad to help show all the hard work that goes into producing vehicles and energy storage, along with all of the other areas of interest and products under the Tesla umbrella.

For todays video, there are a number of highlights to look for, particularly on the south extension area. Crews were busy preparing to finish adding the insulation panels on the roof over the supercomputer cluster, while other crews were busy pulling electrical wiring along the roof-mounted rack mounts and into ducting that directs these wired down into the portion of the extension where the supercomputer center is under construction. These are related to conduit installation underway on the north side of Tesla Road and the casting machine section.

On the roof of the multi-level parking garage, we see for the first time, Model Y's being temporarily staged while on lower levels, more employee and/or contractor vehicles were parked, indicating more of the facility is now in use. on the ground around the exterior walls, more grass seed mixture has been spread and on the north side, some additional trenching is underway.

For the 4th of July, Tesla placed a large crane with American and Texas flags out near the west main entrance, and I was able to get some nice images of this area with a sunrise in the background! I was told with great authority we will be seeing flag poles for even larger versions of these flags soon, so that will be a great permanent addition, I think! Can't wait to show you these when they are installed!
