Deltoid & Integrated Function| Biomechanics & Pathomechanics [Part 3]

Описание к видео Deltoid & Integrated Function| Biomechanics & Pathomechanics [Part 3]

Detailed discussion on deltoid muscle and the role of deltoid in integrated function of shoulder complex. Deltoid is made of three fibers namely: anterior, middle and posterior fibers. Each of these fibers has a specific role and deltoid muscle as a whole is a primer mover of arm in elevation. The anterior fibers regulates flexion, anterior and middle regulate flexion in scapular plane and middle fibers regulate abduction. But its posterior fiber dont have a specific role in elevation and instead act as a joint compressor.
Watch video to know the peak power of deltoid action , the role of serratus anterior and trapezius in deltoid function. Also get to know how the rotator cuff muscles influences deltiod function.
