INTEGRATED FUNCTION AT SHOULDER# Role of Acromioclavicular & Sternoclavicular Joints( Part 2)

Описание к видео INTEGRATED FUNCTION AT SHOULDER# Role of Acromioclavicular & Sternoclavicular Joints( Part 2)

Detailed discussion on the integrated function of shoulder complex. Here we discuss the role of acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular joint in shoulder elevation. Shoulder elevation happens with motion at glenohumeral and scapulothoracic joints. The scapulothoracic joint motion always occur as coupled motion of sternoclavicular and acromioclavicular joint.
The scapulothoraic motion that occur is the upward rotation and along with it at sternoclavicular joint there is elevation and posterior rotation happening. At same time at acromioclavicular joint there occurs upward rotation. All this motions couples together along with other motions to produce the total functional range at shoulder complex.

Watch this video to understand relationship between each of this joints and there motions
