Stop Leaking Exercises 1 -    • Pelvic Floor Exercises to STOP LEAKIN...

Your pelvic floor works on a larger team with your diaphragm (breathing muscle), core and your hip muscles. All of these need to be strong and working well in order to stop/prevent leaking with exercise or what's known as stress urinary incontinence, which is when there is an involuntary bladder leakage (peeing yourself a little) when we move, jump, or otherwise increase the pressure momentarily in our abdomen. As a pelvic floor physical therapist I help patients every week overcome their leaking challenges with these movements. So follow along as we go through breathing exercises as well as my favorite hip and core strengtheners.
