2 Simple Underhook Throw By Takedowns for BJJ & Wrestling (Great for Grapplers with BAD KNEES!)

Описание к видео 2 Simple Underhook Throw By Takedowns for BJJ & Wrestling (Great for Grapplers with BAD KNEES!)

To round off this week's underhook takedown series, we will go to the Throw By.

I love this takedown because, in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or MMA, it puts you right on your partners back and in a position to take the back, get your submission, and win.

It's obviously great for traditional wrestling too.

Arguably, being on the back is the best position to be in BJJ so it's good to have a few takedowns in your back pocket in order to do that.

This is also a great takedown for guys like me who don't have the best knees in the world. Stuff happens, we get injured, and we have to develop a Knee friendly Takedown game. This is a great option for that.

Here, I'll show 2 finishes in this video:

one, where our opponent loses balance and we get to turtle, and the other, where our opponent has a strong base, stays up, and we must get them to the mat from a rear body lock position utilizing foot sweeps.
