Comrades Marathon 2024 Start Sequence

The Action from D-Batch at the 2024 Comrades Marathon.

About 20 000 runners lined up for the race from Durban to Pietermaritzburg. A footrace of 85.91km. This direction is called the Comrades Marathon UP RUN.

9 June 2024. The start sequence started at about 05:22 and the Comrades Marathon starter gun went off at 05:30. From the Durban City Hall in Dr Pixley Kaseme Street, Durban, South Africa.
