This film documents the story of Yu Ding Xing 御鼎興, a third generation soy sauce brewer in Central Taiwan, as they make traditional Taiwanese soy sauce by hand, using black soybeans, terra cotta vats, the sun, and wood fire. It offers a portrait of the brewers and Taiwan's terroir, with a look back to the early days of the brewery and forward to the next generation.

簡介:御鼎興是台灣中部第三代的醬油家庭。他們堅持使用黑豆、紅陶甕、陽光、與火灶來釀造傳統手工的台灣黑豆醬油。片中帶你走過醬油的風土歷史、御鼎興與台灣醬油早期的故事、與家庭對下一代的期望。
