Rob has taken both of those designs and made improvements based on what he has encountered over the past 20 years. The Visser No. 4 features a functional new body design that is really great. The one-piece body eliminates a left side cover so there is no chance for the main gear to get out of place. The bail system has actuators that make for a very smooth trip and eliminates the chance of the bail tripping accidentally and cutting your line. There are thirteen ball bearings and the power handle can be moved from left to right. You can dunk it, swim with it and turn the handle underwater without fear of water, sand or salt getting inside.
