Happy New Year everyone!

We're heading into the season of hotpots and I was thinking some of you might be holding your own hotpots at home for friends and family. Alot of people think that hotpots are easy to prepare and that becomes a reason for sloppy & lazy steamboats featuring ready made soup base and uninspiring ingredients like crab sticks and other processed foods.

I'm going to try to inspire you guys with some relatively easy things you can do to make your steamboat a memorable one for your guests. Steamboats are a very social meal so I think having a decent one really helps with the experience.
