Using Sonar Data for Bathymetry/Vegetation: Part 2 - Data Processing

Описание к видео Using Sonar Data for Bathymetry/Vegetation: Part 2 - Data Processing

The USF Water Institute utilizes low-cost sonar technology (similar to fish-finders used by boaters) to map the depth, bottom contours and vegetation in lakes, rivers and near-shore coastal waters.

This video (Part 2) demonstrates how a Triangular Irregular Network (TIN) model and a bathymetric map are created in ArcGIS from the sonar dataset collected in the field using equipment mounted on the front of a small boat.
