31 August Day is a special day for Malaysians (National Day) and Hatsune Miku fans (Birthday of Hatsune Miku), so it's a hard choice for me who is both (well, half of the second one but I still like some of her songs). But based on the current materials I have, I will save Malaysia themed video for the future and go with Miku special first.

The song used in this video is Ievan Polkka (Miku version) (   • Hatsune Miku "Ievan Polkka" Project D...  ). It was originally a Finnish song written by Eino Kettunen in 1930s (   • Ievan Polkka - Eino Kettunen  ). Then, the same song was rearranged by Loituma in 1995 (   • Видео  ). In 2011, the same song was remixed again with Hatsune Miku being the singer.

I don't have Hatsune Miku Figma yet, but I do have Homura who was involved in one of the famous Nico Nico Douga (http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm19157.... The motion reference for the dance was based on another farmer leek dance video based on the same music (http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15067.... But this time, instead of MMD, I am doing it with stop motion animation. Nevertheless, I swear I will get Hatsune Miku one day in the future so I will make one video directly about her eventually.

In addition, this stop motion animation is also considered a milestone for my channel as this is the first time I use Dragonframe to capture the animation. This is also the first time I attempt to make a stop motion animation that is done in one scene (same scene for more than 1 minute).
Moreover, the darkroom filming environment is kind of like a tribute to ‪@MoonshineAnimations‬ too.
