18th Century Underthings? Patterning & Mocking up 1776 Half-boned Stays

I drafted this pattern and sewed this 1770s style corset, and I'm so happy with what I managed to make!

Mandy Barrington's book provided really clear instructions for drafting the stay's panels and I'm so proud of myself for getting through the construction process! It wasn't the easiest project, but I'm pleased with the results - even if I might take a loooong break before I'm ready to tackle historical undergarments/ foundational garments or corsetry again!
