Are Visual Novels Video Games | Video essay

A bit wordy and wild but I felt the need to share some discussion about the argument after a friend and I dived in. Was honestly fun reviewing my experience with the Visual Novel genre, exploring areas of it foreign to me, and defending it against old online discourse and drama. I'm not an expert or anything but I did my research and made the best argument about "what video games are" that I could and I hope yall enjoy.

Also also I just moved so if the audio's a lil' rough that's because the new setup is only ready as of now. My roommate and I are gonna record in the office from here on out and it sounds so much better, however that's for future pieces and I wanted this out now, so tis' is what tis' is.
