SURGERY: Implant placement and GBR in the aesthetic zone using cerabone® plus and Jason® membrane

Описание к видео SURGERY: Implant placement and GBR in the aesthetic zone using cerabone® plus and Jason® membrane

In this surgical video, Dr. Andoni Jones demonstrates the implant-supported restoration of a lost upper central incisor. The radiographic analysis revealed a horizontal bone loss at position 21. Following flap reflection and granulation tissue removal, the site, however, presented with enough bone volume suitable for the placement of a dental implant. After implant bed preparation and implant placement, Guided Bone Regeneration was performed to augment the buccally missing bone volume. Jason® membrane was pinned at the buccal aspect and following the application of autologous bone chips on the exposed implant threads, cerabone® plus was applied. The collagen membrane was sutured palatally and tightly adapted to the augmented site. Finally, the flap was closed to achieve primary wound closure.

Dr. Jones is an implantologist with a focus on periodontal surgery based in Ireland. He dedicates himself mainly to implant surgery and prosthodontics, with a focus on hard and soft tissue grafting.
cerabone® plus combines the established bovine bone grafting material cerabone® with the well-known properties of hyaluronic acid. Thanks to the pronounced liquid binding capacities of hyaluronate, cerabone® plus forms a sticky bone material upon hydration that provides unique application comfort. https://hyabone.com/

Jason® membrane is a native collagen membrane obtained from porcine pericardium, developed and manufactured for dental tissue regeneration. It is very thin and provides a naturally long barrier function based on the specific composition and structure of the pericardial collagen fibers. https://botiss-dental.com/products/ja...
