RetroTINK 5x - N64 S-Video vs. RGB

Описание к видео RetroTINK 5x - N64 S-Video vs. RGB

Video showing the video quality difference between S-Video and a modified Nintendo with RGB output, going into the RetroTINK 5x, and being shown with a variety of settings, featuring Banjo-Kazooie gameplay. I just thought it's a colorful game, with a modest amount of blur. So it should give a good idea on what most game will look like.
(Sorry for the really bad compression with the bit-rate. That's the recording not the device.)

1080p (Fill)

Conclusion, S-Video surprisingly holds its own very well when it comes to sharpness. RGB's huge advantage is the color and how vibrant the image is. Either output is fine, so don't feel
and all of the settings all work well, and it's a matter of preference. This video's job is just to show what all the combinations of settings look like.

I don't own an UltraHDMI N64, nor did I get the new Pixel FX N64 board. But to be honest, RGB already looks so good, and the optimized settings look about the same as the HDMI deblur's function.

The RetroTINK 5x is an amazing device. It makes pretty much every game console plugged into it look fantastic. and I do hope that more are able to be manufactured soon so more people have a chance to get one.
