LP-400 Pallet Separator Installation for Pallet Flow Rack

Be sure to follow the instructions included with your pallet flow rack order. Each project is unique, and installation may vary --refer to your specific drawings.

Tools Needed:
--Straight Edge
--Impact driver or wrench

Expert Tips:
Place the separator into the lane as per the drawings.
Using a straight edge, align the separator with the front of the rails.
Using the provided hardware, insert bolts as per the installation instructions determined holes.
Tighten the nuts with a wrench or impact driver.
Using the straight edge, ensure the front paddle on the separator is on the same plane as the ramp stops.
Fasten the back end of the separator with the wrench or impact driver.
Push down the bale and paddle to ensure the rear paddle engages.

More facilities are turning to layer-picking to satisfy the demand for customized, mixed-SKU pallets. Using a forklift attachment or automated robotic arm to select one or more palletized carton layers in a single pick is much more productive than hand-picking cases. Each pallet flow lane is a designated SKU, and pallets are loaded from the outside aisle, keeping forklift traffic from the pick aisle… and inventory at the ready—no waiting for restocking.

Line your pick aisle with pallet flow lanes to conveniently stage pallets. The layer pick separator isolates the front pallet to allow the pick device to surround the pallet and make the pick. Once the pallet is empty, it is easily extracted, and the rear pallets flow forward automatically.
