(4K) SCHIEDAM TO ROTTERDAM CYCLING (The Netherlands) Walking and Cycling

Fiets met me mee naar Rotterdam. Er staat vandaag een stevige wind dus hou je stuur goed vast.
We beginnen onze fietstocht in het Schiedamse 'Prinses Beatrix park' en rijden daar doorheen naar
de Parkweg en via het fietspad langs de A12 (het Hazenpad) naar de 's-Gravelandseweg en vandaar gaan we richting het Schiedamse station en de P.K.O. laan en dan nemen we het fietspad langs de Horvathweg naar Rotterdamse wijk Spangen. We rijden langs de Delfshavense Schie naar de oude 'van NELLE' fabriek en tegenwoordig 'van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek' geheten. We rijden verder langs het kanaal richting de Mathenesse brug en er onderdoor naar de wijk Bospolder-Tussendijken en komen dan via de Schiedamseweg en de Hudsonstraat in de deelwijk Schiemond dat ligt aan de Maas en is gebouwd op het terrein van de voormalige scheepswerf 'Wilton Feyenoord'. Dan fietsen we verder over de Vierhavenstraat richting het Marconiplein en worden dan op de hoek bij de 3 kantoorgebouwen aan het Marconiplein bijna omvergeblazen door zeer sterke windvlagen. Gelukkig kunnen we op de been blijven en fietsen verder naar de Schiedamseweg en dan langs het 'Witte dorp' en de Schiedamseweg beneden naar Schiedam waar we dan over de Rotterdamsedijk beneden en de Boerhavenlaan op de Snelliussingel komen waar we de fietstocht beëindigen.

Cycle with me to Rotterdam. There is a strong wind today, so hold on to your handlebars.
We start our bike tour in Schiedam's 'Princess Beatrix park' and drive through it to
the Parkweg and via the cycle path along the A12 (the Hazenpad) to the 's-Gravelandseweg and from there we go towards the Schiedam station and the P.K.O. laan and then we take the cycle path along the Horvathweg to the Rotterdam district of Spangen. We drive along the Delfshavense Schie to the old 'van NELLE' factory, now called 'van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek'. We drive further along the canal towards the Mathenesse bridge and under it to the Bospolder-Tussendijken district and then via the Schiedamseweg and the Hudsonstraat we arrive at the Schiemond district, which is located on the Maas and was built on the site of the former shipyard 'Wilton Feyenoord'. Then we cycle further along Vierhavenstraat towards Marconiplein and are almost blown over by very strong gusts of wind on the corner of the 3 office buildings on Marconiplein. Fortunately, we can stay on our feet and cycle further to the Schiedamseweg and then past the 'White village' and the Schiedamseweg down to Schiedam where we then cross the Rotterdamsedijk down and the Boerhavenlaan on the Snelliussingel where we end the cycling tour.
