कैरेटोकोनस का एक और आधुनिक इलाज - INTACS with C3R | Treatment of Keratoconus

डॉ राहिल चौधरी, इस विडियो के माध्यम से, काली पुतली (Cornea) में होने वाली एक बीमारी कैरेटोकोनस (#Keratoconus) के इलाज के लिए एक Special Combined Procedure की जानकारी दे रहे हैं।

इस तकनीक का नाम है: "INTACS with C3R".
इस स्पेशल प्रक्रिया में 2 सर्जरी (Intacs और C3R) एक साथ की जा रही हैं ।


केराटोकोनस के इलाज मे इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली इस तकनीक के 2 बड़े फायदे हैं:
1. इसमे केराटोकोनस को बढ्ने से तो रोका ही जाता है
2. साथ ही काली पुतली की सतह को भी इंटक्स रिंग द्वारा ठीक किया जाता है
ताकि कैरेटोकोनस के रोगी को चश्मे की मदद से पहले से भी ज्यादा साफ नज़र आए।

एक जरूरी बात:
इस तकनीक मे, कैरेटोकोनस रोगी का चश्मे के नंबर नहीं हटाया जाता, केवल चश्मे के साथ नज़र को थोड़ा बेहतर किया जा सकता है ।

केराटोकोनस रोगी को पूरी तरह से चश्मे से छुटकारे के लिए, इस सर्जरी के 3 महीने बाद ICL लेंस लगवाने होते है।
