今回もご視聴誠にありがとうございます。
以前当店で販売、カスタムさせていただいたXL883Lはエンジン不調でご入庫。

アイドリングが安定せず、時折エンストを起こします。
点検してみると、インテークマニホールドから二次エアーを吸い込んでおりました。

インジェクションとなると、なにか不具合が起こるとエンジンコンピューターや、センサー、アクチュエーターのどれかと考えがちですが、9割以上は機械的な不具合です。エンジンコンピューターは、僕らチューナーが入力したデータに基づき、決められた量の燃料をインジェクターから噴射しているだけです。

いきなり通常よりも極端に多く噴射したり、少なく噴射したりということはありません。キャブレターの同じようなフローチャートに従い、診断を進めていきます。

今回はインテークのシールの不具合で二次エアーを吸い込み、燃調が極端に薄くなって不具合を起こしていました。シールの交換ついでにスロットルボディーを洗浄して組付け。

The XL883L, which we have sold and customized in the past, came in with engine trouble.

The idling was not stable and the engine would occasionally stall.
Upon inspection, it was found that secondary air was being sucked in from the intake manifold.

When it comes to injection, it is easy to think that the problem is with the engine computer, sensors, or actuators, but more than 90% of the problems are mechanical. The engine computer only injects a predetermined amount of fuel from the injectors based on the data input by us tuners.

It does not suddenly inject more or less fuel than usual. Following the same flow chart for the carburetor, we proceed with the diagnosis.

In this case, the seal on the intake was faulty, causing secondary air to be sucked in, resulting in an extremely thin fuel mixture and causing the problem. In addition to replacing the seal, the throttle body was cleaned and reassembled.

The motorcycle is now back in great shape.
