stick with 0.50 mm stainless for combustor unless you can get a grade that's very heat resistant.
You can use the 0.30 mm gas can that Kurt used mine are 0.50 mm less chance of burn through but not needed if the combuster fits in the stainless cone.
With the 78 mm diameter extension it does not leave much room for the 6 mm diameter sticks they would need angling away from the outside chamber to were they are designed at 81 mm PCD.

So far I have only mixed and matched with 3 engines FD3/64 - 631 Hobbyjet and the PT35.
all are very similar using the same type of compressor wheel and diffuser very similar NGV .
The compressor diameter has gone from 66 dia on FD3/64 to 68 dia on the Hobbyjet and pt35 but shape is same or very similar.
The compressor wheel on the hobbyjet has 7 full length and 7 half length vanes and has different angle than the original FD3/64
