Es ist wohl der bekannteste verlorene Ort Portugals und KEINER liegt idyllischer! Es ist eine verwunschene, ja fast schon magische Welt in die wir eintauchen, ein Ort, der einem Märchen entsprungen sein könnte. Aber es ist auch eine Welt voller Gefahren, wo ein falscher Schritt der letzte sein könnte. Doch es ist allein dieser eine Blick, dieser Moment wo man ehrfürchtig nach oben schaut, wo man weiß, wieso man all die Strapazen und Risiken auf sich genommen hat.

Wovon ich rede? Vom sogenannten Dream Palace, einem mehr als 100 Jahre alten Palast irgendwo im Norden Portugals. Er liegt in einer der ältesten und größten Weinregionen der Welt. Das Gebäude war einst Teil der Produktion eines in Portugal sehr beliebten Weines, doch hier wird schon lange nichts mehr produziert. Nebengenbäude und Dächer sind teilweise bereits komplett eingestürzt, der Zustand der noch standhaften Teile ist besorgniserregend, doch das hält uns nicht davon ab, diesen magischen Ort zu erkunden …

It is probably the most famous lost place in Portugal and NONE lies more idyllic! It is an enchanted, almost magical world that we enter, a place that could have sprung from a fairy tale. But it is also a world full of dangers, where one wrong step could be the last. But it is only this one look, this moment where you look up in awe, where you know why you have taken all the hardships and risks.

What am I talking about? The so-called Dream Palace, a more than 100-year-old palace somewhere in northern Portugal. It is situated in one of the most introductory and largest wine regions in the world. The building was once part of the production of a wine that is very good in Portugal, but nothing has been produced here for a long time. Outbuildings and roofs have already partially collapsed completely, the condition of the parts that are still standing is worrying, but that doesn't stop us from exploring this magical place...
