Concerto for Oboe and Small Baroque Ensemble Movement (complete) by Benjamin McLean

Описание к видео Concerto for Oboe and Small Baroque Ensemble Movement (complete) by Benjamin McLean

Hi, here is my small baroque-themed concerto for period Oboe :)

00:00-4:50 1. Allegro (D minor, sonata form)
4:50-8:55 2. Adagio (Bb major, ternary)
8:55-10:33 3. Allegro (F major, rondo vibes but not really (AA'BCBDCDAA*))

If anyone knows what I should call the structure of the last movement, please let me know 😂

Some things you might notice about this video:
1) The audio for the oboe soloist is a modern oboe, and not a baroque oboe. The software I use to make the audio (waiting for the day a real ensemble will play one of my pieces, maybe one day haha 😅) does have a baroque oboe audio, but it is very basic, the program soundtrack for modern oboe is much more expressive, hence why I used it.
2) Tuning for the midi audio is A440 as opposed to A415, again, limitations of the midi realisation program.
3) There is no harpsichord part as might be traditional. If you want me to write a harpsichord part in, please comment and I will make a video with the harpsichord included :)

Please comment what you think, and like and subscribe :)
