Super Street Fighter II X [3DO] - play as M.Bison

Описание к видео Super Street Fighter II X [3DO] - play as M.Bison

This is a play-through using M.Bison (dictator) in the 3DO version of Super Street Fighter II X. Read on below for more information...

M.Bison is the 4th and final boss of the game. He is a regular playable character in it.

===== ABOUT M.BISON =====
Probably the most famous fighting game boss character, and the staple Street Fighter villain. He has one of the most unique and distinct fighting styles.

In comparison regarding his earlier SF2 appearances, in SSF2 he gained a lot of new basic moves, a new Special Move and had his own voice. He really developed as a more rounded-out and flexible character. Then in SSF2T, he was given a new Fake Head Stomp special move, in which the Devil Reverse move can be executed during it. And obviously he gains a new super combo move.

I wonder who he is referring to when he mentions "the ancient one" in his ending?

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- Being the regular final boss, he'll always appear as the 12th and last opponent when the player plays through the single-player mode... unless of course you meet certain conditions prior to fight against the hidden boss Akuma (who will replace him).

---- Being a set boss character in single-player mode, you get to have a mirror match against him if you select him as your character to play as.

---- When the CPU is in control of him, he wears a cape which he removes at the start of the 1st Round before the fight starts.

---- When the CPU controls him, it can perform an outcome of the Head Stomp which a human player can NEVER do. And this is the outcome where if his Head Stomp is blocked, he will either jump back off or jump off forward behind (it depends where the opponent is). His Swan Dive Punch after landing the Head Stomp is also a bit different to the player version of the move as well.

---- The bosses are the only characters who do not have a unique "backwards" walking animation in the SF2 series.

---- He is known as Vega in Japan.

===== ABOUT 3DO SSF2X =====
The 3DO version of SSF2T is the first console port of the arcade game, and it is an excellent conversion. Being a 32-bit system means that the graphics can be (somewhat) faithful to the original... however the character sprites are not exactly 1:1 of the arcade ones because they are very slightly resized (fairly unnoticeable), and some characters are missing some frames of animation (for example T.Hawk's walking). Also, there are lesser colours and much lesser animations on most of the backgrounds, which suggests that the system's video RAM was scarce for the game. It should be noted that you cannot select the old SSF2 versions of the characters in this port.

The best thing about this port is the remixed music that comes with it... for me, I think it is one of the best instrumental styles Capcom have composed (which is sadly missing these days). If you've ever played Capcom Generation 5 on the PS1/Saturn and Hyper Street Fighter II Anniversary Edition on the PS2 and wondered where the remix tracks originated from, well now you know. (it's either the 3DO or the FM Towns version of SSF2)

Back then, I would imagine that this version of SSF2T was regarded as the best one before the PS1 and Saturn versions came along as part of the Street Fighter Collection.
