Pacing N&W Train On The Cincinnati District (Peavine)

Along Ohio State Route 73, we have pacing footage of N&W train DR78 between Rarden and Henley, Ohio on November 5, 1988. This is the former Norfolk & Western Cincinnati District, commonly known as the "Peavine". While the footage is not professional grade by any standard, it is a look back in time. This section of the railroad has been out of service since 2003. Also, the audio is spectacular. The Doppler Effect of the horn and engines going through the towns of Rarden and especially Otway make this video complete. The video ends at the grade crossing in Henley.
